In order for a job to be visible on mobile it must have one phase with labor enabled and in most cases will need to be active/open. Without at least one phase with labor enabled, the job will not show up regardless of the job status.
If you have a contract job that is not showing up on the Knowify mobile app, the first thing you'll want to do is verify that the job is:
- Has at least one Phase with labor enabled
- Currently Open/Active (if the hide closed jobs feature is enabled)
To verify that a job has at least one phase with labor enabled, navigate to Plan and Track and and check each of your phases for the 'Labor' cost category.
If 'Labor' is not listed, you can enable it at any time! First Plan & Track Switch to Budget Mode if need be. Select 'Enable Cost Category- Labor' on each Phase you wish to show on the Knowify App.
Remember to Save and Switch the Plan & Track to Active again when finished to finalize your changes and begin tracking costs!
To verify that a job is currently open/active, you can check its status from the main Contract jobs page, under status:
Or by navigating to the job directly and checking its summary page. If the job is currently closed, you can
Re-open it by clicking the 'Re-open job' button in the top right of the page:
There is an optional setting that will also hide 'Bidding' jobs from the Knowify app. You can toggle this on and off in your Admin settings, under Customize, features, Hide/Display Jobs
Changing settings in Knowify will not effect mobile users until they have logged out and logged back in. If you have updated a setting to try and resolve an issue, please have your users log out and back into the app so updates can take effect.
