In order to sync time from Knowify to QuickBooks Desktop, we'll need to ensure we have a default service item for labor, the employee linked between Knowify and QuickBooks, and the default payroll item(s) set for each employee.
- You can set a default service (something from your item list in QuickBooks that is synced with the catalog in Knowify) in the company defaults section here
- In the admin section under the users tab, you can edit a given user to select the QuickBooks employee we need to sync their Knowify hours to
- Lastly in the admin/rates section, we'll want to set the default payroll item for standard time and overtime (where applicable) for each user we need to sync time for
Once the above is setup, the next time entry approved will be sent to the queue for your next sync with QuickBooks.
