Set Previous Values

If you have a job that was worked on prior being added to Knowify, the 'Set Previous Values' feature will allow you to quickly and easily add all of the job's costs in bulk so you can get up to speed with tracking the job in Knowify!

Selecting 'Set Previous Values' will prompt you to enter the total costs for Labor, Materials, and Subcontractors you would like to add to the job. Upon saving, these amounts will be added as both actual and committed costs across the job, and in relevant reports. 

Note

Please note that while this feature does allow you to quickly add costs to a job, these costs will not be associated with any bills, time entries, subcontracts etc. Additionally none of the values entered here will show in WIP reporting. This can cause complications with bookkeeping down the road. When possible, we recommend fully inputting/ importing all costs to make the most of Knowify's reporting and project management tools, and utilizing our shortcuts to bring a job up to speed in Knowify
