Creating a project plan

Your project plan in Knowify contains phases, budgets, and work order information. You will be able to view your project plan and track your progress from the Plan & Track section inside each job.

Depending on the job costing style you select when adding the new job, you will have more or less flexibility creating its project plan. That is, the project plan will be automatically created when using simple or advanced job costing styles.

In professional mode, however, you will be able to:

1. Build the plan from scratch.
2. Copy phases from a spreadsheet.
3. Use a project plan template already created in Knowify, which will pull in phases, budget, work order information from the selected job. This will require you to previously mark the project plan as template when you consider it can be reused in future projects.
