Set Default Material Markup For T&M Service Jobs

By default, when creating and invoicing for a Time and Materials Service job, Knowify will use the catalog price for any items/ purchases costed to the job. If you would like to add a percentage markup to all items on the service ticket, you can do this by selecting 'Set Default Markup Percentage for Non-Time Items', and inputting the percent you wish to markup by. 

Going forward, all bills/purchases allocated to the job will be marked up by this percentage:

Default markup can still be used on non-catalog items! For these, Knowify will base the cost on the initial PO/ allocations for the item, and add the markup on top of that.

You can also set a default materials markup rate for all T&M Service jobs in your Admin settings under Customize- Service Pro - 'Set Default Markup Percentage for Non- Time Items'. This rate will be automatically applied to all purchases on T&M service jobs moving forward. Keep in mind, you do have the ability to overwrite this default on individual Service Jobs and invoices as needed
