Sometimes, you may not want a resource to show up as an option when scheduling jobs, but they still need to be included in Knowify for Admin/ job costing purposes. This may include office staff, management, or seasonal employees.
Knowify gives you the option to prevent these Resources from appearing in scheduling tools using the 'Hide in scheduling tools' feature! This can be enabled in the Admin section, under rates and resources. Click on the gear icon beside the user you wish to hide, and select the option 'Hide in Scheduling Tools'
Moving forward, this resource will not appear on the Scheduling Calendar or Team View. You can reenable the resource in scheduling at any time by going back to the gear icon in Admin - Rates and Resources and selecting 'Show in Scheduling tools'
Hiding an employee from scheduling does not remove them from Knowify's time tracking features! You are still able to cost them as needed and can input time to specific jobs as needed. The Time Tracker and Scheduler are separate entities in Knowify's system
