How to connect Knowify to ChatGPT

Connecting Knowify to ChatGPT allows you to ask questions about your business and get real answers based on your actual job data in Knowify. 

Once connected, ChatGPT can answer questions about your Knowify data on demand. Ask "which jobs lost money last quarter?" or "what's ready to invoice?" and ChatGPT will pull the answer from your live Knowify workspace.

How to connect Knowify to ChatGPT:

1. Sign in to ChatGPT at chatgpt.com 
2. Select Plugins in the sidebar, then search for "Knowify." 
3. Click on the "+" icon next to Knowify.

4. Click Sign in with Knowify, then authenticate using your Knowify credentials. This links your ChatGPT account to your Knowify account for data access.

5. Open a new chat. Click the + icon in the lower-left of the chat box and add Knowify to your conversation.
6. Ask your first question to confirm the connector is working. For example:

• "Show me my five most recent open invoices."
• "Which active jobs are tracking over budget this year?"
• "Summarize my WIP position as of today."
• "Are any subcontractor COIs expired or about to expire?"

ChatGPT should respond with data pulled directly from your Knowify account. 

How to manage the Knowify plugin for ChatGPT

To manage the Plugin settings or troubleshoot your connection, go to Plugins > Installed, and click on Knowify. 

From there you can check your connection status, reconnect to Knowify, or manage your permissions.
