Foreman and other users with the Permission ‘Is a foreman or can access timecards’ are able to add or edit time for other users from the Knowify App
Time can either be managed through the ‘Foreman’ or ‘Jobs’ tabs in the app. Foreman have the following editing tools from within the app
- Add Time - Log a time entry for a user for a specific amount of time worked without a set Check In and Check out Time.
- Check In - Checks the specified user into the current job
- Check Out - Checks the specified user out of their current job
- Cancel - Deletes the currently in progress time entry for the specified user
Jobs
To manage time through the Jobs tab, pull up the job/phase time is going to be allocated against
Once the Job has been selected, navigate to the available users by selecting ‘Team Activity’ and scrolling to the user you wish to edit.
Foreman can then Add time, Check In, or Check Out users as needed
Foreman View:
Foreman View will show all users currently working, as well as the jobs they are currently checked into
Selecting ‘View all active Check-Ins’ Shows all users currently checked in, and allows the Foreman to check them out, Cancel their current check in, and link directly back to their jobs.
Note that if a foreman checks another employee in, this will be notated on their time entry :
